Moreira JSR, et al. - The nutritional and metabolic parameters related to vitamin D status and blood pressure (BP) in were determined in type 2 diabetes and hypertensive patients. A high prevalence of vitamin D deficiency was shown in patients with hypertension and type 2 diabetes, which appeared to be linked with higher systolic ambulatory BP monitoring (daytime and 24-h), less physical activity, and no milk or fish intake.
