Association of long-term exposure to airborne particulate matter of 1 μm or less with preterm birth in China

JAMA Pediatrics Jan 05, 2018

Wang YY, et al. - This study incorporated an inspection of the correlation between particulate matter having a median diameter of 1 μm or less (PM1) concentrations with the risk of preterm birth (PTB). A link was disclosed between exposure to PM1 air pollution with an increased risk of PTB in China. The yielded data would present evidence to inform prospective research studies, public health interventions, and environmental policies.
