Association of germline BRCA2 mutations with the risk of pediatric or adolescent non–hodgkin lymphoma

Wang Z, Wilson CL, Armstrong GT, et al. - Researchers analyzed 794 additional survivors of lymphoma from the SJLIFE study and Childhood Cancer Survivor Study cohorts, using whole-genome sequencing data to additionally examine BRCA2 as a potential predisposition gene for pediatric or adolescent lymphoma. In a former report from the St Jude Lifetime (SJLIFE) study, among 3,006 survivors of childhood cancer, BRCA2 was the third most often mutated gene (14 occurrences), with the highest number noted among survivors of lymphoma.
