Jansen WJ, et al. - This study was performed to investigate whether cerebral amyloid-β aggregation, a key characteristic of Alzheimer's disease (AD), correlated with cognitive functioning in persons without dementia. Low memory scores were an early marker of amyloid positivity. However, among persons without dementia, their value as a screening measure for the early AD was limited.
