Magen E, et al. - In Israeli patients with alopecia areata (AA), clinical characteristics, as well as the prevalence of comorbid conditions were determined. Prevalence of AA was approximately 0.8%. In patients with AA, a high prevalence of food allergy and chronic spontaneous urticaria was noted.
