Association of a family history of autoimmune disease with time to pregnancy, pregnancy loss, and live birth rate

Fertility and Sterility Sep 15, 2017

Plowden TC, et al. - This study was performed to investigate the relationship between a family history of an autoimmune condition and time to conception, pregnancy loss, and live birth in a cohort of healthy women. Women with a history of 1 or 2 prior pregnancy losses, who had a first-degree relative with an autoimmune disease, did not have a longer time to pregnancy. In any case, these women had a higher risk of any pregnancy loss and lower likelihood of live birth.
