Lv MQ, et al. - A systematic review and meta-analysis were carried out to the explore the relationship between X-ray repair cross-complementing group 1(XRCC1) Arg399Gln polymorphism and endometriosis. The outcome of this meta-analysis proposed that Arg399Gln in XRCC1 was related to endometriosis risk. And particularly in Asians, the A allele could be a preventive factor for this disease. Further well-designed investigations with larger sample size and various regions are required to validate their conclusion.
