Fu Z, et al. - The relationship between urinary phthalate metabolites and risk of breast cancer and uterine leiomyoma was systematically evaluated in this study. The current study showed that there was significant positive association between di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) metabolites and risk of breast cancer and uterine leiomyoma, particularly for mono-(2-ethyl-5-carboxypentyl) phthalate (MECPP) in breast cancer.
