Chen S, et al. - The link between short sleep duration and carotid atherosclerosis was determined herein. Sleep duration less than 5 hours per night, compared with sleep duration for 5 or over 5 hours per night, was found to be associated with a higher risk of carotid atherosclerosis, and the link may be modified by age.
