Roberts BW, et al. - Mechanically ventilated sepsis patients admitted to the Emergency Department were examined, to determine the association between the partial pressure of arterial carbon dioxide and survival to hospital discharge. Findings demonstrated a link between increasing levels of partial pressure of arterial carbon dioxide and survival to hospital discharge.
