Andrologia Aug 14, 2021
Valancy D, Blachman-Braun R, Kuchakulla M, et al. - According to the data, males with low serum testosterone (≤ 300 ng/dl) have a higher risk of anemia (hemoglobin ≤ 13.5 ng/dl), and serum testosterone and serum Hb have a positive relationship.
The authors looked at data from the NHANES III database and chose men between the ages of 18 and 80.
After analyzing 5,888 men, it was discovered that those with anemia had a higher incidence of low serum testosterone than those without anemia and that low testosterone was substantially related to anemia in multivariable-adjusted analysis.
