Park JH, et al. - In this cross-sectional study, researchers assessed the link between high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol and pulmonary function in healthy adolescents. Findings showed that among healthy male adolescents, higher HDL cholesterol level may be associated with decreased pulmonary function. Further exploration of the sex differences observed in the association between HDL cholesterol and pulmonary function is required.
