Jones PM, et al. - The purpose of this paper was to inspect if the complete handover of intraoperative anesthesia care was related to a higher tendency of mortality or major complications compared with no handover of care. In comparison with no handover, a link was demonstrated between the complete handover of intraoperative anesthesia care with a higher risk of adverse postoperative outcomes among adults undergoing major surgery. Hence, the yielded data could support limiting complete anesthesia handovers.
