Suga H, et al. - In a group of 4,272 first-year female dietetic students and 3,651 their mothers, researchers investigated the association between tryptophan intake and depressive symptoms screened. Findings revealed a lower prevalence of depressive symptoms in independent association with a higher tryptophan intake in young Japanese women.
