Association between diet quality scores and risk of hip fracture in postmenopausal women and men aged 50 years and older

Fung TT, et al. - Among prospectively analyzed US men and women, higher Alternate Healthy Eating Index-2010 scores were found to be associated with a lower risk of hip fractures in women. Additionally, it was indicated that the inverse associations with diet quality may be more apparent among those younger than age 75 years.
