Jo T, et al. - This study explored the link between dementia and in-hospital mortality and discharge status in hospitalized pneumonia patients. Presence or absence of dementia did not result in a significant difference in in-hospital mortality between pneumonia patients; however, those with dementia were less likely to be discharged home.
