Association between chest CT features and clinical course of Coronavirus Disease 2019

Luo Z, Wang N, Guo Q, et al. - A retrospective study was intended to illustrate the radiographic characteristics of Coronavirus Disease 2019 and the correlation with the clinical course. Between December 31, 2019 and February 20, 2020, researchers included 195 hospitalized patients confirmed as Coronavirus Disease 2019 at First Hospital of Changsha, Hunan Province. They collected chest computed tomography scan, clinical data and laboratory tests results accordingly. They examined representative laboratory tests results based on the image findings. The results exhibit that in early recognition and differential diagnosis of Coronavirus Disease 2019, there are several specific image variations along with the disease progression may be useful. Comprehensive evaluations of both imaging feature and laboratory test outcomes may offer an intact understanding of Coronavirus Disease 2019.
