Cobos E, et al. - This trial investigated whether specific genetic single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) exerted an impact on the vascular endothelial growth factor inhibition response to ranibizumab, in neovascular age-related macular degeneration (AMD). The inference drawn was that genetics played a significant role in the therapeutic response in AMD patients.
