Hu Y, et al. – The study aimed to determine the relationship between polymorphisms of the MAP2K1 (also known as mitogen–activated extracellular signal–regulated kinase {MEK}) gene and depressive disorder. The findings suggested that the rs1549854 and rs1432441 polymorphisms of the MAP2K1 gene might be related to the major depressive disorder, particularly in females.
