Quezada CA, et al. - Researchers ascertained if complete compression ultrasound testing (CCUS) improved the risk stratification of acute pulmonary embolism (PE) beyond the recommended prognostic models. Data displayed that analysis of coexisting deep vein thrombosis (DVT) could improve risk stratification of patients at intermediate-low risk for short-term complications in normotensive patients with PE.
