Assessing the extent of non-aggressive cancer in clinically detected stage I non-small cell lung cancer

Kale MS, et al. - A large, population-based cancer registry was searched to estimate the prevalence of non-aggressive lung cancers. Researchers found that regardless of sex or size, the rates of non-aggressive cancers were relatively low among clinically detected, stage I non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Treatment with curative intent was recommended for most clinically diagnosed early-stage cancers.
