Devauchelle-Pensec V, et al. - The researchers herein, aimed to develop substitutes to the polymyalgia rheumatica activity score (PMR-AS) that did not require C-reactive protein (CRP). Findings revealed that in patients without available CRP values and in those receiving IL-6 antagonist therapy, substitutes of PMR-AS obtained without CRP could be used to monitor PMR activity in routine practice.
