Aspirin does not prevent growth of vestibular schwannomas: A case-control study

MacKeith S, et al. - Researchers assessed whether the intake of aspirin was associated with reduced growth of vestibular schwannomas (VS). They also evaluated the prevalence of contraindications to regular aspirin in patients with VS. No correlation was demonstrated between aspirin intake and VS stability. Data indicated that only tumor size at diagnosis was speculative of the risk of VS growth.
