Aoyama T, et al. - This research was designed to reveal a more fundamental indicator that could predict the presence of small bowel vascular lesions (SBVLs) by considering atherosclerosis qualitatively and quantitatively. Researchers found a correlation between arteriosclerosis (especially increased superior mesenteric artery calcification) with an increased likelihood of SBVLs.
