Wackel P, et al. - Researchers retrospectively evaluated arrhythmia burden among young patients who underwent cone repair (CR) for Ebstein anomaly (EA) and assessed the utility of selective preoperative electrophysiology study (EPS). They found a very low risk of postoperative arrhythmia when a preoperative EPS was limited to those with Wolff–Parkinson–White (WPW), known arrhythmia, or suspected arrhythmia. Additionally, deferring the EPS in smaller patients seemed reasonable.
