Lupus Dec 04, 2020
Drehmel KR, Drehmel AR, Drehmel BR, et al. - The present study was conducted to evaluate the reclassification of undifferentiated connective tissue disease (UCTD) individuals applying newly derived SLE criteria. Researchers distinguished individuals with UCTD within a single academic medical center using ICD9/10 codes. A total of 129 patients were included in the study. Accordin to the findings, both the SLICC and ACR/EULAR criteria display elevated SLE classification. The data revealed that these newer classification criteria could be applied to increase the number of SLE patients in further clinical trials.
