Application of 64-slice MSCT with ovarian vein tracking technique in identification of suture-fixed transposed ovaries
Clinical Imaging Jul 25, 2018
Zhao W, et al. - Researchers examined the accuracy of 64-slice multislice computed tomography (MSCT) with ovarian vein tracking technique in identification of surgically transposed ovaries via retrospectively analyzing the CT and clinical data of 84 subjects with ovarian transposition. The findings from the present study suggested that 64-MSCT with ovarian vein tracking technique had a higher accuracy to identify unmarked transposed ovaries, which was crucial in the diagnosis of abdominal/pelvic lesions. This method was simple and easy to learn, had high repeatability and accuracy, and could be widely used in routine CT diagnosis.
