BMC Geriatrics Oct 29, 2017
Rios S, et al. - The researchers performed this retrospective cross-sectional study to investigate patterns of antipsychotic medication use among persons with dementia across health sectors in Canada, with a focus on factors related to use among those without behavioral or psychotic symptoms. Among older adults with dementia, potentially inappropriate use of antipsychotic medications was prevalent across health sectors.
