Li WC, et al. - The target herein was to contemplate the connections between Pemphigus vulgaris (PV) and serum antioxidant levels of bilirubin, uric acid (UA) and albumin. Reduced serum levels of bilirubin (Tbil, Dbil and Ibil), UA and albumin were revealed in patients with PV. This data supported the proposition that oxidative stress and antioxidant status were significant factors in the pathogenic mechanism of PV.
