Murray MD, et al. - An exploration was carried out of the longitudinal consequences of antihypertensive medications and blood pressure on the onset of incident dementia among African Americans. It was inferred that the control of blood pressure served as a crucial intervention for preventing dementia in older adult African American patients with hypertension. This strategy exhibited similar benefits when compared to most of the commonly available antihypertensive medications.
