BMC Urology | Mar 15, 2018
Cao L, et al. - The relationship between anti-hypertensive drugs use and the risk of prostate cancer was determined. No significant relationship between the use of antihypertensive drugs [angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (ACEIs), angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs), beta-blockers, and diuretics] and prostate cancer risk was noted. Based on findings from the case-control studies, the risk for prostate cancer was increased by calcium-channel blockers.
