McLaughlin CM, et al. - This study was designed to assess if anticoagulation (AC) results in thrombus resolution and increased line longevity in children with intestinal failure (IF) and catheter-associated central venous thrombosis (CVT). Findings revealed that in these children, anticoagulation could prevent thrombus propagation, and decrease blood stream infections and line replacements.
