Fleischer S, et al. – Study's aspiration was to delineate novel cytokine–mediated B cell functions in rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Outcomes of this work outlined hitherto unknown abnormal B cell functions in RA patients. These functions exhibited a relation to the unbalanced cytokine network and were potentially relevant for RA pathogenesis and treatment.
