Raza A, et al. Â Objective of this study was to find out if anti-inflammatory roles of p38α MAPK in macrophages were context dependent and required IL-10. Drugs targeting p38 had limited clinical efficacy. Results revealed that their therapeutic efficacy could be significantly enhanced by simultaneous modulation of p38-dependent anti-inflammatory mediators, such as IL-10.
