Anti-CCP-positive patients with RA have a higher 10-year probability of fracture evaluated by FRAX: A registry study of RA with osteoporosis/fracture
Arthritis Research & Therapy Feb 03, 2018
Cheng TT, et al. - This study was aimed to assess the association of overall positivity or specific levels of the anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide (anti-CCP+) with the prevalent fracture or a 10-year probability of fracture in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Findings demonstrated a higher 10-year probability of major or hip fracture in the anti-CCP+ RA patients independent of anti-CCP levels and a lower bone mineral density (BMD) of the FN when compared to anti-CCP- patients.
