Analysis of mandibular changes using panoramic-based indices in patients with chronic renal failure

Secgin CK, et al. - Researchers used panoramic-based indices to assess cortical parts of the mandible in patients with chronic renal failure (CRF). Findings suggested the possible utility of mandibular cortical index (MCI) in this patient population for assessing changes occurring in the cortical parts of the mandible. Clinicians should be aware of these changes while planning invasive dental treatments in CRF patients.
