Analysis of IN.PACT DEEP trial on the association between changes in perfusion from pre- to postrevascularization and clinical outcomes in critical limb ischemia
Catheterization and Cardiovascular Interventions Sep 07, 2017
Hammad TA, et al. – This study quantified the changes in ankle and toe pressure from pre– to post–endovascular revascularization for critical limb ischemia (CLI) and assessed their relation to major adverse limb events (MALE). Findings demonstrated that post revascularization improvements in toe pressure were incremental and rarely normalized. The benefit of the toe pressure versus ankle pressure was greater in CLI and toe pressure predicted future MALE as well.
