Analgosedative interventions after rapid sequence intubation with rocuronium in the Emergency Department

Kilber E, et al. - In this study, researchers primarily compared the number of analgosedative (AGS) interventions early versus late post-rapid sequence intubation (RSI), with etomidate and rocuronium combination. Secondarily they descriptively assessed time to first AGS intervention. In the ED, when rocuronium was used for RSI, no delay in provision of post-intubation sedation or analgesia was observed, after a pharmacy-led educational program.
