Analgesic effects of locally administered ketorolac-based analgesics after breast surgery: A meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials
The Clinical Journal of Pain May 11, 2018
Chen JY, et al. - The efficacy of locally administered ketorolac-based analgesics was determined in managing pain after breast surgery via conducting a systemic review and meta-analysis. Variation in the effects of ketorolac-based analgesics was noticed as per the surgery and disease type. Locally administered ketorolac-based analgesics resulted in a reduction in postoperative pain in breast surgery patients and had better effects than local bupivacaine. Hence, ketorolac-based analgesics showed considerable local infiltration during pain management after breast surgery.
