An outline of anemia among adolescent girls in Bangladesh: Findings from a cross-sectional study

Mistry SK, et al. – The prevalence of anemia among the adolescent girls (10–19 years) in Bangladesh was examined, as well as, its socio–demographics distribution was analyzed. This study found the higher number of adolescent girls who were still suffering from anemia in Bangladesh and non–pregnant adolescent girls contributed the most. In order to combat the situation, immediate, long term and sustainable public health intervention would require.
