Hanba C, et al. - This study strived to determine the patient characteristics related to high-risk surgical disease through a population-based examination into pediatric invasive fungal sinusitis. The results displayed that the patient demographics, cytology, and disease extension yielded predictive information with regard to the patient outcomes for invasive fungal sinusitis. A high clinical suspicion and early therapy could decrease the lengthy and costly hospitalizations in this cohort.
