British Journal of Ophthalmology Sep 20, 2017
Schulz CB, et al. - The topic analyzed during this research was intracameral mydriasis for routine cataract surgery. It was disclosed to be clinically effective in maximum patients undergoing cataract surgery. It could be related to an improved patient experience and a more streamlined preoperative flow. Mydrane represented a licensed alternative to the off-label use of other intracameral mydriatic agents. Nevertheless, it was not judged to be a cost-effective intervention for routine use in this particular setting.
