Desai P, et al. - Whether statins are associated with risk of endometrial and ovarian cancer, was investigated via analyzing data from the Women's Health Initiative (WHI). Findings demonstrated reduced risk of endometrial cancer among statin users at baseline but not in time-dependent models. Notably, pravastatin use was related to an increased risk of ovarian cancer.
