Altered miR-193a-5p expression in children with cow's milk allergy

D'Argenio V, et al. – In order to illustrate the altered miR–193a–5p expression in children with cow's milk allergy (CMA), experts undertook this study. Based on the data obtained, miR–193a–5p was a post–transcriptional regulator of IL–4 expression. It could have a role in IgE–mediated CMA. For this common form of food allergy in childhood, this miRNA could be a novel diagnostic and therapeutic target.
