Altered expression of MALAT1 lncRNA in nonalcoholic steatohepatitis fibrosis regulates CXCL5 in hepatic stellate cells
Translational Research, The Journal of Laboratory and Clinical Medicine Sep 29, 2017
Leti F, et al. - The intent behind this research, was to identify lncRNA expression profiles in nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) patients with histological evidence of lobular inflammation and advanced fibrosis. Through mechanisms involving inflammatory chemokines, functionally relevant differences in metastasis-associated lung adenocarcinoma transcript 1 (MALAT1) expression could contribute to the development of fibrosis in NASH.
