Pathakumari B, et al. – In order to reveal whether altered expression of antigen-specific memory and regulatory T cell subsets differentiated latent and active Tuberculosis, experts performed this study. In this study, ESAT-6 specific Tcm and Rv2204c specific Tregs seemed to be possible biomarkers. Results suggested the effectiveness of these biomarkers to discriminate latent TB infection (LTBI) from active TB.
