Miyamura S, et al. - This paper entailed the quantification of the bone density and stress distribution patterns in long-standing cubitus varus. It also intended to clarify the effects of the deformity on bone density. Based on the findings, it was deduced that repetitive stress on the medial elbow could alter the bone density distribution patterns, probably reflecting from an early stage of osteoarthritis (OA).
