Zhang Z, et al. - Authors aimed at assessing whether all grades of severity of post-operative adverse events are associated with prolonged length of stay in patients undergoing pulmonary cancer resection. In this study, prolonged hospital stay seemed associated with lower DLCO(Diffusion capacity of the lung for carbon monoxide), open thoracotomy approach, and the development of any post-operative adverse event, including minor events that required no additional therapy.
