Charles D, et al. – As preventives for surgical site infection following minor skin excisions in general practice, alcoholic chlorhexidine versus aqueous chlorhexidine were assessed. Findings demonstrated that alcoholic and aqueous chlorhexidine did not differ significantly in their efficacies with respect to preventing surgical site infection after minor skin excisions.
