Ahuja P, et al. - Among pregnant women with or without preeclampsia, airway assessment was performed during and after labor. For prediction of difficult laryngoscopy, useful bedside anatomical information may be obtained via airway sonography. In both groups, the change in airway dimensions and the Mallampati score during labor may persist for 48 h postpartum. Susceptibility to changes in airway dimensions was more in those with prolonged labor.
